Bram Stoker

Abraham – Bram – Stoker est né en 1847 à Clontarf (Irlande). Très vite, il s'installe à Londres où il mène, parallèlement à ses activités professionnelles, une vie d'intense activité mondaine, culturelle et littéraire. Le Défilé du Serpent (1891), dont l'action se déroule en Irlande, inaugure une production romanesque qui alterne textes « romantiques » et romans « fantastiques » dont le fameux Dracula (1898).
